Our mission

Our Vision and Mission Statement

Vision

Our vision is to be a sanctuary with no animals - this would mean that all the awareness and education in the country has worked and nobody kills, eats, captures or keeps Liberian wildlife as pets.

Mission Statement

Libassa Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and release of animals confiscated from the bushmeat and pet trade in Liberia. We are committed to educating and raising awareness of the laws protecting wildlife in Liberia and promoting the need for wildlife to stay wild.
