Clinical Veterinary & Conservation Research Capacity

We provide on site veterinary care supported by microscopy, ultrasound, and clinical examination to assess and manage the health of resident wildlife. Our diagnostic capacity includes physical exams, hematology, fecal analysis, parasite identification, wound management, supportive care, and post release monitoring, strengthening both clinical care and conservation outcomes.

In collaboration with Oregon State University and the US Department of Agriculture, we conduct systematic ectoparasite and pathogen sampling that connects wildlife rehabilitation with disease ecology. This work contributes to zoonotic disease surveillance and One Health research.

We are expanding our capacity through investment in specialized cold storage to support bio sampling and specimen integrity. This enables deeper collaboration with research partners on zoonotic disease dynamics, behavioral ecology, and long term conservation outcomes, while continuing to build sustainable in country veterinary clinical and research capacity.
